Recently, the list of nominees for the 2025 Wuxi Higher Education Teaching Competition was officially announced. Two teams of teachers from our college stood out from many participating teams with their outstanding performance and solid teaching skills, winning one first prize and one second prize in the New Engineering category.

This teaching competition for universities in Wuxi is an important event in the city's education sector, aiming to improve the teaching level of university teachers, promote educational and teaching reform and innovation, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation among universities in the region. The competition attracted outstanding teachers from many universities in Wuxi, making it exceptionally competitive.

The course "Computer Networks" taught by Ma Li's team won the first prize. This course is a core course for the Internet of Things Engineering major. It has explored and formed an innovative teaching path of "industry-education integration and ability advancement", which has effectively solved the pain points of the course and continuously improved the course quality and students' learning outcomes.

Lou Qiongdan's team won second prize for their course "Operating Systems," a fundamental course for computer science majors. The course innovatively reformed its teaching methods to address the abstract and fragmented nature of the knowledge, aiming to improve students' understanding and mastery of the concepts.

This honor not only reflects the individual teaching abilities of the participating teachers but also demonstrates the college's commitment to faculty development and continuous efforts in teaching reform. The college will seize this opportunity to further strengthen its faculty, deepen teaching reforms, and continuously improve teaching quality, making a greater contribution to cultivating more high-caliber talents who meet the needs of social development.
