The School of Internet of Things Engineering will continue to uphold its educational philosophy of "solid foundation, strong practice, innovation emphasis, and industry integration," closely aligning with national and regional IoT industry development strategies. We will optimize disciplinary and program structures, deepen educational reforms, and enhance research innovation capabilities and social service capacities. By actively recruiting high-level academic leaders and young PhD candidates, we aim to strengthen faculty expertise, refine distinctive research directions, leverage team leadership, and continuously elevate our faculty's academic standards and research capabilities. Currently, the school maintains four research teams:

Leveraging university-level key laboratories, engineering research centers, and industry-academia-research platforms established in collaboration with local partners, the institution provides an excellent research environment for faculty and students. It has undertaken over 20 national and provincial-level research projects, more than 30 industry-academia collaboration initiatives, published over 100 high-quality papers, and secured over 50 invention patents. Since 2023, the total research funding for the entire institute has exceeded 45 million yuan, with a high rate of industry-academia-research commercialization. The team has been recognized as an Outstanding Scientific Innovation Team in Jiangsu Province and a Leading Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team of Taihu Talents in Wuxi City.
