The School of Internet of Things Engineering takes "school enterprise collaboration and industry education integration" as its core path, and strengthens practical education through the construction of off campus practical teaching bases and linkage with industry resources. The practice base relies on the local IoT industry cluster in Wuxi, radiating to the core areas of the Yangtze River Delta (such as Suzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai and other industrial highlands) and other active cities, fully utilizing the advantages of regional industrial resource density, and providing students with diversified practice scenarios of "localization+cross regional". Targeting senior students, conducting job practice in the areas of IoT system development, technical operation and maintenance; Some bases provide pre practice opportunities such as "cognitive internships" and "summer training" for lower grade students to strengthen their professional knowledge; As the "real battlefield" for graduation projects (theses), students are required to participate in real project research and development or technological optimization in enterprises. Off campus practice bases can meet the needs of professional students' practical teaching tasks, enabling them to fully receive good engineering practice and training, enhance their ability to solve practical problems, and thus achieve the teaching goal of improving comprehensive abilities.
