This programmeis designed to meet the school's overall talent development goals of' deeply implementing the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and nurturing people, fostering high-quality new applied talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, and serving the high-quality development of regional economy and society.It is oriented towards the development needs of the Internet of Things (IoT) Engineering College and the IoT Engineering major, aiming to cultivate talents who are well-rounded in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. Graduates will possess a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and IoT engineering, along with practical skills, teamwork, and self-learning abilities. They will be capable of engaging in technical research, product development, application services, as well as system planning, analysis, design, implementation, and operation and maintenance in the IoT and related fields. In this field, the expected objectives for students graduating in theIoTEngineeringdomainwithin approximately five years are as follows:

Objective 1: Familiar with regulations and technical standards in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and related areas; capable of applying mathematical, engineering fundamentals, and specialized knowledge and skills of IoT engineering; competent in independently identifying complex engineering problems in real-world contexts, conducting investigations, proposing solutions, and implementing those solutions to address complex engineering problems.

Objective 2: Capable of tracking cutting-edge technologies in IoT and related fields; proficient in utilizing modern tools; competent in independently undertaking applied innovative research in this field, as well as research and development, production of software and hardware products, and planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of IoT systems.

Objective 3: Possess social responsibility and adhere to professional ethics; capable of comprehensively considering the impacts of legal, environmental, and sustainable development factors in engineering practice.

Objective 4: Possess sound humanistic and social science literacy and teamwork spirit; master effective communication and expression skills; capable of assuming organizational and management roles in product R&D, production, engineering construction, and system operation teams within the IoT industry chain.

Objective 5: Possess strong capabilities in autonomous learning and lifelong learning; have a certain international perspective; capable of proactively adapting to changes in the social environment and the development of the information and communications technology industry.
